Waste Management Operations Inclement Weather Update – Sunday, January 25

 Due to winter weather, Waste Management Operations are as follows:

The transfer station, citizen garbage drop-off area, and recycling center/metal recycling are closed on Monday, January 26.  These areas will reopen at 7am on Tuesday, January 27.  

The VPPSA compost Facility is closed on Monday, January 26, and will reopen at 8am on Tuesday, January 27.

Curbside Garbage and Recycling Collections

All curbside collections will run on a 1-day delay during the week of January 26.  This is a Blue Week for recycling.

• Monday collected on Tuesday (January 27)
• Tuesday collected on Wednesday (January 28)
• Wednesday collected on Thursday (January 29)
• Thursday collected on Friday (January 30)
• Friday collected on Saturday (January 31)

 For all collections, please place containers at the roadside by 7am.  Please continue to check our webpage for updated information about curbside collections.
