York County Celebrates Appointment of New Executive Director for Historic Triangle Recreational Facilities Authority

          York County celebrates the announcement of Dana Creech Youst as the new Executive Director of the Historic Triangle Recreational Facilities Authority (HTRFA), effective Monday, August 18, 2025. Her leadership marks a pivotal moment in advancing recreational opportunities across the Greater Williamsburg area.

          “We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Dana Creech Youst to the HTRFA,” said York County Parks and Recreation Manager Ben Whitener. “Her deep experience and forward-thinking leadership will bring transformative energy to our regional recreational offerings.”

          As Executive Director, Youst will oversee the Authority’s daily operations and serve as the primary liaison between the HTRFA Board, contractors, and Parks and Recreation staff from the Authority’s three jurisdictions: City of Williamsburg, James City County, and York County. Her role will be instrumental in positioning Greater Williamsburg as a premier recreational destination.
