York County Mosquito Control Reminder - Tip & Toss
Due to recent wet weather, we anticipate an active spring mosquito season. How can York County residents help? Regularly tip any standing water on their property, especially in containers such as tires, flower pots, tarps, toys, and bird baths.
Mosquitoes grow in water, so reducing the mosquito population is done by removing the breeding habitat. On a regular basis, please toss items that hold water and are no longer used, such as old tires, buckets, and broken items.
