Posted on: July 1, 2025[ARCHIVED] Virginia Polystyrene Ban Now in Effect
Virginia General Assembly passed legislation in 2021 that bans the use of Polystyrene (EPS) by food vendors. Food vendors with 20 or more Virginia locations must stop using EPS containers as of July 1, 2025.
