Transfer Station Closed, Citizen Garbage Dropoff Area Reopens
The York County Transfer Station remains closed to the public for repairs.
The citizen dropoff area for trash disposal reopens on Wednesday, November 27 at 7am; the remainder of the facility, including recycling dropoff area, metal recycling and VPPSA Composting Facility will be open under normal operations.
As a reminder, the Waste Management Facility is closed on Thanksgiving Day (November 28), and will reopen on Friday, November 29.
The citizen dropoff area will close at noon on Saturday, November 30 and will reopen on Monday, December 2 at 7am.
We will share an update when the Transfer Station reopens to the public.
