Start Peninsula Pitch Perfect

Thursday, August 13, 2020

Improve your pitch at this casual and informative workshop. Work alongside entrepreneurs as well as business and communications coaches. After all the work you put into your startup, your ultimate success often depends on the business pitch. Informal 'elevator pitches' are the way to sell your business and create relationships that secure future resources. If you want to improve your business pitch, we are here to help! You will learn: • How compact your pitch into 90 seconds or less • The components of every good pitch • How to deliver and articulate your pitch with confidence In addition, these training workshops are perfect for those interested in our Micro Pitch events, where you pitch your business idea for a chance to qualify for our main event in November and win $5,000!

Start Peninsula this year will feature three Micro Pitch competitions where four winning pitchers from each event will move on to the final event in November. Our main Start Peninsula event will be comprised of these 12 winning pitchers, and will be a one-night “Shark Tank” style pitch and Q&A.

Three winners will each be awarded a $5,000 prize to help kickstart their businesses. In addition to these Micro Pitch events, Pitch Perfect events will also be held throughout the year to help entrepreneurs improve and finetune their pitches. Think of these events as training, with coaches, mentors, and fellow entrepreneurs, while the Micro Pitch competitions are the real deal.
