Calling all middle and high school students! If you're looking for a fun way to earn volunteer hours this summer, York County Public Library is here to help! Our teen volunteers are a huge part of our Summer Reading Program and while things may be a little different this year, we still need you.
We have two opportunities available:
Program Assistance
Our biggest need is during our middle and high school craft programs. These sessions will be held on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. and at 3:30 p.m. July 8 through August 12. You will earn two volunteer hours per session. The best part about helping with these programs is that you get to participate, too!
Activity Kit Preparation
We also need your help preparing for Summer Reading. We have so many craft kits to put together, and so little time. We'll meet in the Tabb Library meeting room at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 5, to prepare the kits all at once (and eat pizza, too!).
