Have you watched Wallace and Gromit or The Nightmare Before Christmas and wanted to try making your own stop motion animation film? Now is your chance!
YCPL is offering a two-week program for middle and high school students on how to make your own short stop motion animation movie about an endangered animal. We'll be using an app called "Stop Motion Studio" and it's available for both Apple and Android devices. We will provide everything you need but if you have your own device (tablet or phone), please bring it because we have a limited number of library devices for use.
Teens will make their movies during the week 1 session, scheduled on August 5, and we’ll have a screening party during the week 2 session, scheduled for August 12. Two time slots are available for each week - one at 10:30 a.m. and one at 3:30 p.m. Registering for a session on August 5 will automatically register you for the same time slot on August 12. If you are interested in signing up, you can register through our online event calendar or contact the Tabb Library Youth Services desk at 757-890-5110.
